I have met quiet a few people who care about the world … have thrown in the towel on the rat race and moved on to make life a better place for a few others. I have met a few people who care about others……but someone so simple and so loving can only be one in a million J.
This is our security guard Narayan Appa.
Looks old. But I believe he is not as old as he seems to be and that the hectic work schedule has eaten into him.
Greets you with an enchanting smile as you enter the school.
Will rush to carry off the load from you.
Will come into the office and keep asking you to order and have something, else you die of hunger. Will never allow you to carry your plate out to the restaurant. He will do it himself because he thinks that it’s not fair for young girls to be in crowded restaurants. Always concerned about how you have been.
He seems so full of love. So selfless and always caring.
People who have known him now for years tell me that he has always been this way.
He will never be acknowledged for his kindness. People will get so use to him being nice that they will take him for granted. He can be easily unnoticed because he is a very shy person. He may never be appreciated for all his goodness. He will never be famous. He will never be talked about.
People will never know that a wonderful person like him exist in our world.
Ps- Narayan appa has also adopted a stray dog who was abandoned by her previous master as she was growing old. We have named her Pari. Narayan appa takes so much pride in taking care of her.
I have many a time seen him give his lunch to Pari or go out of his way to buy a non vegetarian meal for Pari.
